Cheer Classes:
Fundamentals for Cheer: For boys and girls aged 5 - 9 years who are starting out in cheerleading, we will teach you the basics of stunting, tumbling, jumps and motions.
Little Back-Handsprings: For boys and girls aged 5 – 9 years who are determined to acquire a back-handspring for cheerleading, martial arts, dance, etc. All skill progressions, techniques and methods are used to teach students the proper way to do back-handsprings.
Strictly Back-Handsprings: For boys and girls aged 10 – 17 years who are determined to acquire a back-handspring for cheerleading, martial arts, dance, etc. All skill progressions, techniques and methods are used to teach students the proper way to do back-handsprings.
Tumble for Cheer: For students aged 18 & under who are searching to learn fundamental tumbling basics. Skills such as cartwheels, handstands, round-offs, front-handsprings, etc. are taught in this class. No previous experience required.
Advanced Tumble for Cheer: A back handspring is required to sign up for this class. Emphasis will be on back tucks, layouts and full-twisting layouts.
All-Star Cheer Teams:
All aspiring Cheer Team members must be evaluated before acceptance onto the team. Evaluations can be arranged by appointment only and at our Annual All-Star Cheer Team Tryouts in May. Once accepted onto the team, all members are required to attend all mandatory practices, purchase a uniform and be prepared to compete: locally and nationally. Families of Cheer Team members must be prepared to travel and attend additional practices as required. The Cheer Team is a serious commitment which requires dedication, sacrifice and enthusiasm. The Cheer team is 100% dependant on all competitors, therefore, 100% commitment from all members is absolutely mandatory for 100% of the competitive season.
All-Star Cheer Team (Level 1A/B): For girls and boys aged 14 & under who are interested in building the fundamentals of cheer. Students will learn to build gymnastics skills, tumble, dance, jump and cheer. Students must be enthusiastic and have a willingness to learn and take direction. Practice is mandatory every Monday or Wednesday at 5:00 pm. A full school year commitment is required, split over two semesters.
All-Star Cheer Team Shooting Stars (Level 2): For boys and girls aged 6 - 13 years who wish to build upon their gymnastic skills and learn all aspects of cheerleading including stunting, tumbling, jumps and motions. Students that can perform a BACK HANDSPRING unassisted are preferred for admission into this level. Practice is mandatory every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 - 7:00pm. A full school year commitment is required, split over two semesters.
